a Dual culture of antagonistic bacteria and C. acutatum were made 3 cm apart on PDA and measure the radius of mycelial growth of C. acutatum toward antagonistic bacteria. Each value represents mean of 3 replication of mycelial growth measurements.
b Inhibition rate of mycelial growth was calculated as follows
c 100 μl of antagonistic bacterial suspensions (108 cfu/ml) were spread on water agar, after 24 h, 100 ml of conidial suspensions (106/ml) of C. acutatum were spread on the same water agar. After 8 h, germinated conidia were counted. More than 300 conidia were observed in each plate and three replications in each treatment.
