Inhibitory effect of mancozeb on the spore germination and the germ-tube length of Colletotrichum gloeosporioides causing jujube anthracnose. After harvesting spores producted in potato dextrose agar, the density of spore suspension was adjusted to 1×106 spores/ml. The the spore suspension mixed with the fungicide solution was dropped on the cellophane membrane (1×1 cm, L×W) by 10 μl. After placing cellophane membranes in a humidified box at 25°C for 1 day, spore germination rate and germ-tube length were investigated. Inhibition ratio (%) was calculated by comparing the germination ratio and the germ-tube length in the treatment without the fungicide with that in the fungicide treatment. Same letters on the bar are not significantly different by Duncan multiple range test (P<0.05). The bars indicate standard deviations.
